Jorge A. Lopez is an enrolled agent certified by the Internal Revenue Service to practice and represent taxpayers. He graduated from Florida International University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration majoring in the fields of Management and Marketing. He then wanted to broaden his expertise and skillset in the business world, so he started his pursuit of a tax enrollment certification in 2022 from the IRS and passed the last of 3 examinations in August of 2023. That same month, he also began classes at FIU to pursue a second bachelor’s in order to qualify for CPA certification for the State of Florida, which requires a Bachelor’s of Accounting and at least 150 college credits, which he has already met. He is now eligible to sit for the CPA examination. He has been accepted to the University of Minnesota's International Tax Graduate Certificate program. Despite meeting the CPA credit requirement, his passion for international tax drove him to the #1 specialized master’s in international tax designed for CPA’s in the country. He has been working in public accounting since 2023. Jorge plans to finalize his CPA certification near the end of 2025.
